try storing it upsdie down. The way SU ink pads are made keeps the ink on top & juicy. Turn it over & maybe some of that extra ink will sink back into the ink pad & not stay on top or leak out.

I've used Sharpie pens on fabric (napkins from Orienta# Tra#*ing) & they are still looking great. Since Staz-on ink is the same as a Sharpie I'd try the Staz On ink for fabric. Good luck!
