OMG!! I went to a crafty thing at AC M##re today & was so sad b/c the things they had out to make were not that great - nothing coordinated but -- they just called me & I WON A CUTTLEBUG!! Guess I have to buy some dies now hun?
So my ? - what dies are a must have for the first round of trying out my baby bug?
Yeah!! Woohoo! My 7 year old DD keeps looking at me like I'm crazy b/c I am randomly stopping to yell out a woohoo - I won a cuttlebug!!
Yeah!! Thank ya Lord!! & AC M**re!

I think the folders are more of a must have, actually! They're all great, but D'vine Swirls, Stylized Flowers, Bloom Dots, and Spots & Dots are my favorites. For dies, I'd start with Tiny Tags or Sliders and Flowers 1 (small scalloped circles).
Yep! I have to agree! I just love the D'vine folder!!! It took me forever to find it here though. Every time I went it was sold out! Finally found it though!!
Woo hoo! Congrats to you. I think I got an alphabet first as I bought it mainly for scrapbooking and then started with the embossing folders. Have fun with it.

Lucky you for winning!
You can't go wrong with any of these. You are going to have SO MUCH FUN!
Congrats!! I was supposed to go to the same thing here in CT but wasn't able to make it. Who knows if the projects in my AC Moore would have been the same as yours. I would suggest looking on Ebay for the alphabet dies. In the stores they are $80 ($40 with a 50% coupon). I got mine on Ebay for $22!! I know a lot of people think Ebay is evil, but I don't!!! Have fun with your Cuttlebug!!
Cuttlebugs are just great - you can just do so much with them. The only problem is that you can't make "official" SU! cards with them since we can't sell them - yet!!!
In His Grace,
Karen

CONNGRATULATIONS that is so awesome. D'vine swirls, spots and dots, love the snowflake one. I love the embossing folders, I am not so thrilled with die cuts but that is my taste. But I think the Cuttlebug is amazing for embossing.
Can't you use the SU emobssing tins (not what they are called but I can't think), has anyone tried this?
FUN!! FUN!! Definately go to Ebay for alphabets. I have bought 2 and didn't pay over $30, including shipping. And yes on the sliders & flowers & Divine Swirl. I also got the asterisk die on the bay for a good deal. Enjoy your new toy!!

Yes, this is almost exactly what I got...Started with the embossing folders (all of the above plus Happy Birthday, Snowflakes, and Textile). Only have two die sets so far...Sliders and Flowers (I think the same mentioned above). HTH Wish my bug was free!!!

You can you just follow the instructions as if it were a plain brass template, but, the SU brass stencils are very close together image wise, the only thing I can do is emboss the whole thing and then cut out what I need. Give it a try and see what you think

hey you do you have those or are you wanting those my dear? Have you noticed you are being followed? LOL
Congratulations! I was surprised on Saturday too. I dropped my completed form in the box and forgot about it. I heard my first name paged, but didn't catch the last name. Didn't think much about it, but asked an employee a little later why they were paging people and she told me to go find out if they had page me for a door prize. Someone had paged me, but didn't get my last name exactly right. Couldn't believe that I got to bring home a Cuttlebug!
So congratulations again!!! I hope you are enjoying yours as much as I'm enjoying mine.

I have to agree. I LOVE the embossing folders but have not liked the dies so much. I have an alphabet and a few others, and I find that it is just too much work to cut out very many letters...would rather use my Cricut for that. Anyway...CONGRATS. That is so fun!

Oh, wow, a free cuttlebug. I haven't read the posts, just your title. But I gotta tell you - I use my cb almost every day! Love it, love it. Just used it to make 30 thank you cards. So fast and the cards don't look mass produced :-)
You'll have so much fun!!

I also love the embossing folders, I have gotten all of my stuff from ebay and have been very satisfied with price and shipping time. My fav embossing folders are the word ones...they make super fast cards. Also love the olivia alphie and the sliders. Enjoy.....

Personally, I think the embossing folders are fantastic. For starters I'd say the Divine Swirls, Happy Birthday, Dots and Spots, and Textile. For dies I believe the slider one is the one I use most...then the asterisk and pinwheel looking one.
