Default ? enlighten me- what's a cuttlebug?

What's a cuttlebug -- don't anyone fall off your chair. I've figured out it's a die cut but is it good? What's the advantage over Sizzix? And while I've got you - how is it different from the Cricut? I appreciate your sharing your knowledge with me! I did look at Joann's website for the cuttlebug & was confused by some of the die info -- are the symmetric shapes something you can die cut at different sizes? Thanks!

I don't know exactly but I do know I want one. I believe you can dry emboss with it and use it as a die cut!

Thanks for asking, I've been wanting to but figured we'd lose SCSers to heart failure if I did!

If you get one.. YOU WILL LOVE IT.. I have one and it's awesome. You can use your 50% off coupon at Michaels so it ends up being only about $40.

You can use all of the dies from leading companies (sizzix, big shot, quickutz, etc)
I have one, I love it. I love the embossing folders, especially. SOOOO much fun.

There are a *ton* of great threads in General Stamping (where this one is being relocated to). Enjoy! I've been considering one, too, but am leaning more towards the Big Shot. . .
