My space gets messy every time I clean it up. That's how it's supposed to be:) Just enjoy the process and clean up when you're done. Then get it messy again the next day, that's the fun in it:)

You kind of want that same material as a gelli plate though don't you? Would paint kind of bead up on a glassy/ceramic surface? Don't you kind of need the adhesion of the gelli surface to pull a good...

Maybe you could try one of those cheapy plastic/vinyl folders from the office supply section? Making sure it's a completely smooth folder and not textured of course:)

I really like the Liquitex Basics line, they're on sale at Michaels for 3 for $10 right now, and they're normally 4.99 a tube. They're pretty good size tubes too, so good deal:)
