I like tombow mono glue- you only need a little and you have time to play before it sets, but it holds great! I hear your pain, for the mess ups I had with sticky strip or any double sided tape.

I have only ever used Stampin Up markers on...

I have only ever used Stampin Up markers on stamps to ink them. I believe Marvy work well too. The trick is to "huff" on them after you color to remoisten them before you stamp it onto paper.
