Only time I ever use them is to color a stamp before stamping as Stampinmom said. Perhaps you could buy just a few in colors you like and think you would use...as some greens, pinks or whatever...

Yes, it bothers me...or at least did bother me until I went un-mounted...Now, that's not a problem and I love it! It's much easier to keep the rubber clean as well...

Ultra Clean is the greatest...best of any I've used. I also use a cheap, battery-powered tooth brush ( dedicated to cleaning stamps only) for those hard to get to places in some stamps.
