Where can I get CD cases for unmounted?

I know this has been discussed, but I have tried searching the threads and I can't find it.

I am unmounting my stamps and just bought a CD tower from a yard sale. Now I just need to know where I can get some CD cases. The ones with out the inserts would be great if anyone knows where to get them.

You can get them almost anywhere - I've gotten them at Wal Mart and Staples and popped the inserts out.

I bought mine at Office Max. They're the "slim" kind and I popped out the black insert.

I just went to walmart today and the one close to me has stopped selling any CD accessory type thing. I was actually looking for a CD tower there and they don't sell anything like that anymore. I guess Ipods are too popular now that people aren't into CDs anymore?!?

And no Staples near me. :(

This is where I get mine from. Excellent prices. I buy the CD Calendar case - it doesn't come with the insert.

My Big Lots sells the clear ones 10 for 2.48.

Just checked out that effectuality website and for 100 CD cases the shipping was over $29....what kind of deal is that. The shipping was more than the cases themselves...insanity! I can get 10 for 3.99 at Target which is .39 each...the others come out to be .57 each...I will be checking out Big Lots though, because that is an even better deal!

Our Staples sells stacking CD storage for about $7.99 each. I can't remember how many it holds, like 20?

This seems to be the best deal so far. I found 200 for $24 with $11 shipping. So if I can't find a good deal locally, I will probably end up ordering from them.

Check out sleevetown.com too. They also carry the Jumbo DVD cases with removable inserts for the larger sets that won't fit in a single CD case (although once in awhile I have to use 2 of the Jumbo DVDs too!)

supermediastore.com they're about 30 something cents a piece (but you buy 100 at a time) and shipping is free.

seems like rima.com has a better deal though, and you don't have to take the sleeves out!

I am getting mine at WalMart. The last time I went they didn't have any - I guess I used all their supply. I then went to KMart and got them cheaper there! You might even try resale stores. They probably don't have empty ones but you can throw the CD away.

For stamp storage .... do NOT get the "slim" cases. ...as stated above. I found the best price @ my local Office Max store. For the storage towers...I bought mine from "Good Will" stores..just look at several stores in your area and you will find all sizes for a good price and all I saw were in good condition.

Rats! UPS ground shipping to me (Indiana) is $21.00 :( $8.00 shipping would have been okay

I ended up ordering from Rima.com yesterday and my order should be here on Thursday. They ended up being about 17.5 cents per case. At my local Office Max and Office Depot, they ended up averaging about 60 cents per case.

Must be because of shipping to the States. They are based in Canada. I had 50 CD cases, 25 metal tins, 15 metal DVD tins plus some folders and the shipping was under $8. But I live fairly close to them.

I just told my friends and neighbors I was looking and they came up with tons! many people take the Cds out and put them in CD wallets, so they have the cases to ditch. I keep fibers in them by color or type.

I ordered 200 with out the insert so that was good it arrived today and I'm happy./
