I just went to the site to order. It must suck being in Canada because shipping is 35.00 to me so the bill was 70 bucks. I am better off going to Michaels. Hopefully it is better for the south side of the border.
Thank you for this heads-up! I called my closest Michael's (over an hour away) and they said the cost of their cuttlebug was $139, and the dies ranged from $9.99 to over $100. So I scampered back to the creativeexpress site and ordered the cuttlebug and five embossing folders and two dies plus a Figgy Pudding card making kit and even with UPS shipping it came to $25 less than Michael's (without including gas!)
So I'm happy (excited, hyper, guilty:oops, and a big Thanks to Sara!
Thanks.......wasn't sure as it says includes machine and plates only! Still tempting even with the $37.00 shipping as the only place I found here that sells it, it is $129.00
Our Thanksgiving dinner with family isn't until Saturday so I'm hanging out at home today in my jammies. I can't believe I just bought what I've wanted for a long time while surfing the net in my jammies. LOL Thanks Speale for the heads up! *doing the happy Cuttlebug dance*

Purchased a Cuttlebug at Creativexpress -- $35.00 and they have the dies and folders on sale for 1/2 price (sold out on the favorites). Shipping for the machine and 6 dies/folder was $9.00.
Just finished putting an elk in the freezer- so at least I can eat for a year.
Just got one for my friend from Michaels for $50. It's the same way I got mine. Can't beat that with the 40% off coupon. I'm wishing I could get the snowflake folder, but it seems it's sold out. Read that they are coming out with new folders some time in February. It's the greatest.

I don't know what the Wizard adaptor pad is, but I am able to use my Fiskar's Texture Plates with my BUG. I went to Home Depot and bought what was called Rubber Gasket (for like $3.00) and it makes the impression deeper from my Fiskar's plates. Some places, it's called Plumber's Rubber. Anyhow, it's a rectangular sheet of thin rubber.

Although the price isn't as low as the Thanksgiving week special from Creativexpress, it does include four free limited edition mini embossing folders and one free mini die. It may be worth it to get those free goodies to order from them. Their price is cheaper than this week's online Joann Fabrics price. Crazyscraps price is $59.99 with free stuff vs. $69.99 at Joann.com Shipping is only $6.95.

I haven't received mine, I ordered it on Thanksgiving day, they took out the money, and I received an order confirmation, but I haven't gotten a fedex tracking number yet...I sure hope it comes soon, I'm anxious to use it!
:confused: Mine just came today. I never got a shipping notice or tracking number. That's unlike them, but maybe they were swamped with orders. Unfortunately, I have been home sick for 3 days and not sure when I'll play.

I ordered mine on Thanksgiving, too----Speale needs a comission from posting this sale!!! I never got a ship date or tracking number either and was getting very concerned about it. Even called them yesterday and left a message. Guess what? Got it today! Gotta wait til Christmas to play with it. Darn!

Ok here I go, I am in the process of ordering this machine...and I am wondering if any of the ladies who already received this can tell me if it really did come with the spacer and pads required to make it work? Have never seen it in action and the video wouldn't work on my computer so really have no clue ... but I love the D'vine swirls (which is out of stock, of course) - so I need the machine, which is advertised with machine and plates - so I think I need some embossing folders to make it do anything, is that correct?? Help!! I am really lost here but so fascinated by the effect of the embossing. Thanks for any help anyone can give me - I am online with the site in another window making the purchase....
I just received mine two days ago, and I'm having fun! It comes with everything you need to make it work, except the embossing folders and die cuts for cutting, you have to order those separately. But all the plates are there.
The only thing you have to do is screw on the handle and it's ready to go. The booklet that comes with it explains everything, and it is so easy to use. Make sure you order at least one of the embossing folders so that you can 'play' as soon as you receive it.
You'll be happy you ordered it!
