 | | This week's Tea Party is for Barbara in New Jersey and I am your hostess. My challenge is "Pen Pals" and I almost forgot all about using a pen for my card! I was too excited about Scrape Painting! Here is a second scrape painting background that I made for the TLC and it was a nice magical backdrop for these sweet fairies that Carla sent me. Thanks, my BTPFF! I chose two of the things that Barbara likes for this card--fairies and pink. These sweet friends were very fun to color and simple to pop up on my fun painted background. The background did need a bit more magic, so I stamped the "Believe in Magic" sentiment and random stars. Then I remembered my pen challenge and added a doodled border and some doodled swirls and some white gel pen highlights to the image. I hope Barbara enjoys the tea party in her honor and it lifts her spirits as she recovers from her surgery.
