 | | This wasn't difficult, just time consuming, which is why I may never be a watercolorist. Too impatient! But I'm determined to persevere, if only to improve my patience.
The partial circle in the upper right used the scrape painting technique. I wasn't very careful, too much paint, couldn't find my nice acrylics so used craft paints, TOO MUCH PAINT!!!!! The background is stripes of Distress ink in coffee colors.
I stamped the cups with the Distress linen, although I'm not sure that those lines truly disappeared. I tried to cover them with shading. My watercoloring will always be pretty loose, not perfect, a little goofy. I like goofy. Added a little bit of gold gel pen to some details. I did have a lot of fun with this card. |
