 | | I have been wanting for over a year to use this stamp to make a card for "Aunt Betty". Too often I have just pulled a card from my stash for her, but on Wednesday evening I sat down and made this, and as soon as I've printed my letter, I'm off out to post it.
Image stamped on white card, coloured with Polychromos pencils. I used Judikins Microglaze on the clouds before sponging in the sky and foreground. Corner rounder punch, and then the edges were sponged a bit more heavily with Vintage Photo.
The background was a simple gel print with just one colour of paint and a stencil (I think it's Snake Scales from Neat & Tangled). As the book page was narrower than my card front, I tore down the edge. Sponged the edge of the card base with Antique Linen and stamped Off the Grid and the spatter from French Foliage. I finished it off with some enamel dots in suitable rooster colours. |
