Photo Details
Poster: Cook22

For Lyn's super-fun Watercolours on Black CardstockTLC challenge.
I had great fun making this earlier on, and left the Stickles and pearls to dry while I did the housework.

I opted to use my Twinkling H2Os because I know from experience on white that whatever makes them twinkle also makes them quite opaque. I used Key Lime, Sky Blue, Guatemalan Green, Sunflower and Mulberry to create my background, using a hairdryer after each colour. Some were brushed and smeared with my fingers, some were spattered.
I stamped the script stamp, spatter and grid with ColorBox Frost White.
I really, really wanted to use a feather in spite of the fact that I thought "galaxy" as soon as I saw Lyn's sample, so I used a feather from SNSS, embossing with white. In view of the current times I wanted a theme of cover and protection, so while in hindsight maybe I should have used the verse about God's promises like stars in the dark, this is the one I went with. Also stamped and embossed in white. I added a border of Stickles all round, and some detailing with Liquid Pearls. I used a couple of large star sequins, and some tiny little Honey Bee ones. Great fun...

Amazing! I used Twinkling H2Os, too and thought they looked terrific on the black. The liquid pearls are a wonderful accent. You got a really crisp print on your verse and feather...looks great!

Your colors just "sing" and that simple grid you stamped over it makes me think "Map of the universe". The liquid pearls are gorgeous islands of texture and color throughout your universe. - Just an overall beautiful card.
