 | | For MariLynn's Leaf themed MIXed media challenge. She has a link in the post to her tutorial for burnt paper bag leaves. I used that, because it's a technique I really enjoy using, and I still had a bit left just needing to be cut and gussied up. Time for some more burning soon. I used a TH impresslit to cut the leaf, then edged it with a leafing pen and added various gilding waxes and rub-ons.
For my base layer I stamped Maple with Versamark, embossed with white EP and then added turquoise and Prussian blue Brusho, and some Sprinkle-It for sparkle. I edged it with a black pen when dry and stamped the grid in dark green. Added the leaf, with some Fantasty Fibre underneath, and finished it off with some white Nuvo drops. |
