For Lydia's MIX310 Reduce, Reuse, Recycle MIXed media challenge.
I started by using the CitraSolv technique with an old National Geographic, and left this pages drying while I did some shopping. You can't tell (you can in some of the others), but this is Moscow. Staying in the East, my flowers are cut from an old calendar page. Judging by the names written in it, it's over 13 years old. I stamped Off the Grid on the background page and embossed with gold EP. I sprinkled Aged Teal chunky EP over the foreground. I added some silver texture paste in a wavy design in a couple of places. My dragonflies and partial vase are cut from a Guinness Extra Smooth can - the dragonflies have Stickles on them, and the page is bordered with Stickles. |
