I was delighted to be asked to be guest designer for Audrie's inspiration challenge. The sites she chooses are fantastic with so much to choose from. My inspiration is this one, the second image down with the baubles. It reminded me of a cool winter. The tree is made by gluing aluminum foil to cardstock, wrinkling it, adding paint and wiping it off. It was then die cut and inlaid into the card. Using a torn piece of paper I sponged in my clouds with different shades of memento ink and the snow is done the same way, a bit lighter using only a faint amount of London Fog. The word was die cut and inlaid with the same foil. Marbled half pearls were added to the tree. Thanks for stopping by and thanks Audrie for such a wonderful site.

WOWZERS!! You truly outdid yourself with this design! I love the mixed media look to it and the handmade background! It does make me think of something you'd marvel at as you take a walk through the woods in the snowy mountains! I'm so glad you joined us and accepted the challenge! This is VERY inspiring! OOOXXX

Gorgeous, Nancy. Under your expert hand, the clouds and the snow meld into an indistinguishable line of demarcation....a GOOD thing in my book for an artistic look. In awe of your work, as always.
