My card base is Wild Wasabi, and I embossed it with the Vintage Wallpaper folder for a little texture. Since the sketch shows the layer just over to the right, it looked flat and boring! Texture was the answer.
Cherry Cobbler is layered under my DSP.
OH and I have to say that I love the new peek a boo die from the Mini! There were so many to choose from! I used the Pines and Pointsettias set for the PineCones, with a little dazzle on top.
And one of my favorite new sets "Petite Pairs" goes perfectly with the Peek a Boo die! The outer greeting says Merry Christmas, and underneath the little door is the rest of the little greeting!
I used the new quilted ribbon from the mini, and made my own pointsettia with the 5-Petal Punch.
At first, I put some brads in the corners to match the sketch, but then I remember the Jingle Bells! They went on very easily and the card has been shaken by all my family, so I think I'll be ordering more of those! A simple glue dot was easy to place them, I didn't want to use thread.
Thank you for looking!
Casing a sketch is SO easy. I hope those of you browsing the gallery will take time to make your own sketch, and post it here for us to see!!

Love the poinsettia and the jingle bells! They totally pull the whole card together perfectly! I'm also glad to know I can use glue dots to hold on the jingle bells. I'll have to get some of those now!

This is super cute! I love how you used the jingle bells in the corners! Thanks for the tip about the petite pairs and the peak a boo die, I have both and I am going to have to try them together!
