Hello & thanks for stopping by... I created this fun sample card using some NEW goodies from Cut At Home. The pull out tag was created using the NEW Label 1 Nestabilities. To give it a vintage glow, I used the Vintage Values technique.
Julee from Verve shares her Vintage Values How-To: Requires 2-3 shades of the same color of ink and a craft sponge. Starting with your lightest shade of ink, use a craft sponge to sweep ink from the outer edges of your cardstock inward as far as you want your glow to touch. Repeat with your next shade of ink, but only sweep about 2/3 as far in (so some of the lighter color still shows in the inner sections). Repeat with the darkest shade of ink (if desired), sweeping with short strokes, only about 1/3 of the way in.
Holy moley, this is soooo beautiful. The nestie shape is wonderful, love the colors, the scene is beautiful, everything on this is so gorgeous! Love the ribbon and brad! Thanks for the vintage value explanation - it sure does work on this card!

Absolutely GORGEOUS Jen! I love the vintage feel and the added red is perfect. Of course I love the glitter and the vellum strip is a perfect added touch!
