Since this will be used frequently you might also consider coating the paper cover with something like a matte Mod Podge to protect it.

My guess is 4 points of the grid and the rule of thirds are one and the same. When you divide a card into thirds both horizontally and vertically you wind up with a grid with 4 intersecting points....
