This journal page is for my mate, Stamperrobin's fun Free for All challenge. After seeing the challenge sample cards, you have probably guessed that Robin, Francie and I are "everything but the kitchen sink" kinda girls.
The background was made using the "Cling Wrap" technique found in the SCS Tutorial section, with a few changes to the ingredients. I used Brusho powder as the colour medium and Ironing Spray Starch instead of water (which my sweet sistah from anudder mudder told me about).
Ironing spray (just an el cheapo version of Fabulon) is lovely sprayed on Distress Inks, Dylusions Ink Spray and Brusho's, instead of water. The mist is super fine and not as wet as water.
The image is a digi by Vera Lane, she comes with 5 ugly Christmas jumpers. I love ugly Christmas jumpers but we never get to wear them here, last Christmas day the temp hit 109F.
The girls legs and boots are homemade and I changed their hairstyle a bit. The girls have been fussy cut and added to the background after I stamped on some branches and added liquid pearl drops.
Thanks so much for looking, I hope you get some crafty time and join in.

This is brilliant! I love how you made each little girl so unique with different outfits and hair styles. You are so artistically gifted, clever, and creative. Your cards always have such a WOW! factor. Really love this, Susie.

WOWZA! I am amazed each time at your talent. I almost spend more time gazing at one of your cards than I do actually making my own! Your details are so delightful and the way you made each girl look different is simply a testament to your immense talent. Bravo!!!

I've never had a Christmas jumper and the world it better for that I'm sure - but they look great on your gals though! Wish I could wear hooped stocking too ....

Love the different hair styles, looks like someone got carried away cutting bangs ;) You make the best legs and boots. Another fun, fabulous card my friend!

Crazily cute. Great sweaters, hair styles, legs and boots - you are one creative lady. Perhaps you need a "half-way to Christmas" day so you can wear a sweater! We were in Boston when they had a "half way to St Patrick's Day" celebration.

Susie, I do think you must be height challenged! I love all you long legged creatures and humans you place on your cards. I'm also loving how creative you got with the hair styles and the boots. Just a wonderful, whimsical Susie card.
Hey, I'm a shorty, so that's how I see things down here.

I am gobsmacked with this artwork you have created. Course, the girls look like they are gobsmacked as well, with those eyeballs, lol......What an amazing card. Thanks for the details of how you created this. Your liquid pearls are wonderful too. So fun!
