The background was painted with distress paints. I removed the dauber and used a brush. The image was stamped and all the parts that were to be colored were painted with gesso. Pencil blends so well over gesso making this fun to color. The snowflake has wink of stella on it but the scan wasn't going to pick that up. Tiny 2mm nailheads were added for interest and edges were sponged a bit darker. Thanks for stopping by.

Oh my goodness this is BEAUTIFUL! I love the coloring and the distressing you did on this one. The added nail heads are perfect too! I will have to try the pencil with Gesso that would be a new one for me. That stamped image is so pretty!

Your cards are always such a treat. So many cool techniques and designs. I don't know how you come up with all the things you do, but I am continually amazed. Just looking at the bg coloring on this is a treat - so soft and such a lovely look. The image is wonderful too. Absolutely beautiful. Many, many hugz to you my sweet friend!!!!
