My background is embossed in gold and then sponged with distress and other inks. I then highlighted some of the flowers and leaves with watercolor pencils to make the color more intense. I went for dessert today and applied a gold pen around the edge of the flower panel and the sentiment and added some gold beads in the corners. The gold embossing is hard to see but it looks pretty cool. TFL!

Beautiful card, Polly. Love the backgrounder stamp you chose to gold emboss, shade and then color. It really is stunning. CHF made some of the best backgrounder stamps and this one is a gem. Your double label is in keeping with your Victorian feeling as is the bg embossing. Another VERY special card.

Polly the gold embossing gives such a touch of elegance and I love the sponged flowers with just that little kick of pencils to intensivy the colors! Beautifully done!
