My background is embossed in gold and then sponged with distress and other inks. I then highlighted some of the flowers and leaves with watercolor pencils to make the color more intense. I went for dessert today and applied a gold pen around the edge of the flower panel and the sentiment and added some gold beads in the corners. The gold embossing is hard to see but it looks pretty cool. TFL!

Your gold accents are really stunning, Polly! Not too much, just the right amount of gold. I love your coloring on these flowers, a true work of art! Beautiful~

I'm not sure if the bg color is a bright yellow green, or a gold - whichever it is it is stunning!! The bg really sets your image off. I love how you colored the flowers. Very nice Polly!! :>)
