Another combo card for me. Loved the idea of a different fold of today's LSC and really wanted to play in Cindy's MFT sketch from Sunday so combined them. Then I used this dp and the pattern seemed to laid out in a grid, so I scored between the designs. It's a little hard to see here, but you see it and feel it IRL.
The different fold part for this is the heart. Actually it's the only fold. The card itself if like a layered postcard. If you lift the heart up it says "You Brighten My Day" on the inside.
So I scored the grid on the dp and attached it to the cream postcard (it measures 6 x 4.25). I made it this size because I happen to have some envelopes this size.
The heart templates are actually for quilting. They are a set of graduated sizes of translucent plastic/vinyl stuff. I got them on clearance at Walmart w/ no intention of quilting. I just thought they looked like something I needed, lol. Got a bunch of different shapes. I've seen these at Joann's, too.
The different hearts were traced and cut out. The top cream one I placed on a fold so it's double and it opens. I layered the two ribbons and attached. Layered the hearts and attached (stamping on the outside and inside of the cream heart).
Used the oval scallop nestie on the red bg for the sentiment and attached it. Punched flowers from red and cream, layered and attached. (Cindy, I'm using the flowers as the second oval). TFL

Julie, I just cant imagine what must be in your mind with all these designs you always come up with! This is just fabulous: the paper is gorgeous, the lift up heart is phenomenal and the nestie use is totally artistic. A beautiful card just to sit and ponder over. Gloriously beautiful, girl.
