Slowly but surely, I'm catching up on all the Dirty challenges. I didn't want to miss Kittie's make a scene and I've had Holly's sketch in the back of my mind for a few days. This will be a second one for Christine's watercolor challenge.
The stamp (http://lasimppan.com) did most of the work for me as it's already a really nice scene. I stamped it twice on watercolor paper and used a nestie oval to cut out and pop out the center portion of the image. I layered it on a scalloped nestie oval. I used markers and a water brush to color in the images.
I cut around the top of the fence and sponged around the bottom. I cut two panels and sponged the bottoms of both w/ the DI inks and used my new favorite cloud stencil (see MothermarkÂ’s for more info)on the tops w/ the baby blue ink. I edged all the panels w/ the black ink pad. I stamped some grassy sprigs on the bottom panel w/ the shabby shutters DI.
I layered them all together, w/ foam tape behind the oval and behind the fence panel, and added some of the flowers from the leftover scene down the left side. TFL
