No problem- I am confused over this new stuff too. Hope you are doing well. sounds like a great recipe and I am printing it right now. I will give it a try for Easter. I can't believe it- I have all the ingredients! I am trying to "cook from the pantry" and see how long I can go without re-stocking. Have you ever done that? I can go forever on desserts- when I inventoried I had 7 lbs. of confectioners sugar- must have been a Sam's/Costco special!

Hope you are well and looking forward to good weather....

Diane - I am so sorry I did not respond to you. I didn't even know this "conversation" option was here. I just found it when I edited my signature. Here is the recipe for the pumpkin bread.

    3 cups flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. ground cloves
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 cup oil
    3 cups sugar
    1 can pumpkin
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 eggs

Sift flour, spices, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Set aside. Combine oil, sugar, eggs, vanilla and pumpkin. Combine both mixtures together. Pour into three greased loaf pans. Bake at 325 degrees for 50 minutes to an hour.

    Enjoy

Again, I apologize for not answering you immediately. Color me ignorant and red-faced!
