 | | This card is for an outstanding young man who has been at my workplace for a few years, and is about to move to Kentucky with his family and attend college there. I have been intimidated by the bokeh technique, but decided to finally try it after seeing a card similar to this online. And I can't seem to stay away from these colors lately, love watery blues and greens. I started by masking the edges of the watercolor paper panel, and then used blending brushes to apply the DO inks. Then I cut circle stencils with the paper punches and applied the white ink for a bokeh effect. Wasn't as hard as I thought it would be, yay! Next, I applied the Memento inks to the tree stamp, and sentiment, and put them to paper. I framed the panel in two shades of cardstock and added the gems. Easy peasy. Size is 5x7. Thanks for looking! |
