My Sun, Moon and Stars

For the last two F4A: I found a yellow/orange stash piece that I know has paint on it, along with ink, and then for Pam's F4A today, I used a very old piece of dsp with stars, put the tape over it and did old fashioned diecutting-FUSSYCUTTING!
Sabrina's WT challenge yesterday was to either do the eclipse technique or use a sun and moon. I took the easy route.
I bet that dsp is 20 years old! Can't remember the company, the word 'owl' is part of it. Thanks for the challenges!

Using the packing tape to make shiny stars is a great idea. (old-fashioned die-cutting = fussy cutting LOL)

Great getting those challenges in one card. Awesome fussy cutting too. Sometimes I like that better because there's no edges.

Your sun and moon look so striking against the deep star patterned paper, and the way you used the packing tape to give the stars that shiny finish adds such clever texture while the warm yellow and orange tones in your painted stash piece create a glowing contrast that pulls the whole celestial theme together with the crisp fussy cutting giving the shapes clean definition for a bright and joyful design.

Ohhhh, I recognized that TJ stamp…..I might have to pull it and participate in yesterday's challenge. This is super fun and creative! I use to swear I wouldn’t own a die cutting machine or dies…that’s a joke!

LOVE that sentiment! What a perfect sentiment for your card and for yesterday's WT challenge too. Fab card and I love your old fashioned die cutting! LOL. Glad you could use some 20 year old paper too. Wpnderful card, Jean. Hugz

I was sure you would have some perfect papers for this, and I was right. Nice with the Liquid Pearl accents.
