Welcome to Watercolor Wednesday. This week we are painting New Watercolor ARRTX: Bouquet of Anemones with Very Easy Gestural Technique
The gestural technique used here was splattering the watercolors on and spreading it into flower shapes. I had a few attempts but my white Peonies always ended up looking squished in the center.
I thought this was good challenge for learning control of both water and pigment ratios.

I love the colors of the vase in this version, the blue shadow is really pretty. and I love that you had really good luck with big splatters as well. ( I tend to have mine end up too tiny)
