Welcome to Watercolor Wednesday. This week we are painting New Watercolor ARRTX: Bouquet of Anemones with Very Easy Gestural Technique
The gestural technique used here was splattering the watercolors on and spreading it into flower shapes. I had a few attempts but my white Peonies always ended up looking squished in the center.
I thought this was good challenge for learning control of both water and pigment ratios.

Beautiful colors, just a tip if you paint flowers in a pot or vase maybe you shouldn't mask the edges because the white space around the flower shows the masking line, I cut my paper smaller and layer it on the base that works for me, but as I said it's just a tip
