I'm sneaking in just under the wire with this card inspired by last Sunday's featured stamper, Dani. Great choice, Ardyth! After browsing through her gallery, I selected this lovely card to CASE: DDABC - G by DellsDani at Splitcoaststampers being drawn to music themes.
I pretty much kept her layout though I flipped it, kept the idea of vertical stripes though mine is done with patterned paper, and changed the small shape and the instrument.
I started with my piece of Real Red designer paper for a pop of color. I tore vintage sheet music into pieces, sponged around their torn edges with Vintage Photo distress ink, and adhered them to the Real Red panel adding splatters with Vintage Photo when it was done. I chose to use a vellum circle behind my gorgeous grand piano and popped it up with dimensionals. I decided to forego the ribbon but did add a corner punch detail to complete the card.
