AND Sabrina's 3/26/2026 Ways to Use It Challenge 1098: Caxton & Aesop. (Forums at Splitcoaststampers) I chose a Fox, a critter that Sabrina tells us appears in some of Aesop's fables. (I also started this card that week... see how long making time for cards is taking me these days? I must change that! I must learn to say "no" once in awhile, perhaps...)
This is a very simple card in a non-traditional (for "CAS"), not-white theme (it's yellow instead) on its way to a kind soul. I needed a very quick layout, and the die-cut frame and textured background paper helped.
Thanks for looking!
Blessings,
C

Lovely floral fox, a perfect fit in the postage stamp framing. I like the yellow base. That's the colour I think of as primrose, though I know the SU colour is pink.

Lovely card - the contrast between your frame and background is great - helps your image to stand out.

The soft watercoloring on your fox creates such a gentle, expressive focal point, and the way you nestled it into that postage style frame gives the whole design a polished, intentional feel. The textured yellow base adds warmth and energy while still keeping the layout clean, and the pop of turquoise behind the frame pulls the eye right to your beautifully colored image. The balance you achieved between simplicity and detail makes this card shine.
