This sheep was a Christmas gift and came as plain wood so I coloured and glittered it and then had to decide what to do with it. I decided to make an empty shaker, the sheep is too thick for me to confidently seal the edges to keep shaker contents inside!
I had to use the largest of my large Spellbinders circle for the frame and I added snowy acetate inside this. I made 8 supports to go behind the frame, they are basically 3d rectangles. I used some velvet paper for the snowy layers, I should have just used plain card as it's all meeting the acetate anyway!
I tried to add this to a base to make a snow globe but it is just wayyyyyyyy too heavy so I made a stand for it instead. The open side was bothering me so I wanted to cover it up. I used 2 X 1cm strips of card and glued them to the frame supports. First strip went on no problem but the second one fought me the whole way! Glue, tape and glue dots all failed me!!
The finish is definitely not what I'd hoped but after I'd made a 3d envelope for it, I was more than ready to move on.
