Diane is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she has given us colors that are perfect for a Valentine's Day card: Strawberry Slush, Pretty in Pink, and Coastal Cabana. The dessert option is Hearts!
I started off by creating my background layer with a rotating heart stencil. I die cut that layer with a stitched rectangle die, then cut a mat for that layer in Basic Black. I stamped the heart, die cut it, and popped it up with foam tape. Stamped the greeting at the bottom and added a few enamel hearts for a little shine.
This card is going to a fourth-grade class in Indiana. They're participating in "Hearts Around the World," trying to get cards from every state.
Please join us this week and make a Valentine's card with these pretty colors!

What a sweet Valentine and how fun that you are sending it off to a school in Indiana, Barbara! Love the enamel hearts and your main one in the center! The black matting was a great choice since it allows the colors to shine~

I love all the random hearts in the background. The center heart looks great. Beautifully done in the challenge colors! I love the idea of sending to a class. I did that once before in another state. So fun!
