 | | Our colors today are, old olive, strawberry slush and early espresso. Dessert was a cup or mug. No dessert for me. These colors said Christmas to me. The perfect opportunity to use my new Unity stamp set called, Blessed Winter. I stamped the greenery with olive ink then used watercolor pencils to fill in. I used the blender pen to blend the two colors of pencil that I used. I stamped the pine cones in pecan pie then used my early espresso watercolor pencil to color in the dark areas and a lighter pencil for the rest of the pine cone. I used the blender pen to blend the pencil colors together. I took my gold paint and splattered a bit onto my card front. I used gorgeous grunge and stamped early espresso off once then stamped on my card front. I used an old spacing card from SU to make the berries with a strawberry slush marker. I stamped the sentiment on a circle with strawberry slush ink, then used a sponge dauber with early espresso to go around the edge. I used a blending brush with old olive ink to color the edges of my card to give it a frame. This will go on a dinner tray at a local hospital. |
