 | | This is my second card is for the Color Challenge hosted by Barbara and our month long special dessert option: Christmas in July. Barbara chose four bright, happy colors: Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight, Lemon Lime Twist, and Pool Party.
Check out my Card 1 to see how I created these circles. I stamped the iconic images in multiples & die-cut them out. First, I attached a strip that had been trimmed away from the edge. Then matching up the circle colors & stripes as best I could, I glued them to the card base. I stamped the three words from the Iconic Imagery set and used a die from the coordinating set. On each circle, I attached a word banner and an image. I used Mini Dimensionals to pop up the images.
I stamped a Merry Christmas from another set. I found one with dots to coordinate with the word banners. I die-cut it into a banner and glued it to the card base. The final touch was gems from my stash.
I posted two cards of the cards I made. Since I had four panels cut from the full sheet, I had four sets of circles, so I was able to make 8 cards total. All from one sheet of glued strips.
We hope you will join in with Christmas in July and have fun with these fabulous colors! TFL |
