I was torn between using a lighthouse die Lorraine gifted me, and this stamp. The stamp won because I haven't used it yet, because it is also a teapot, and because I think I possibly sent her a card made with the die already.
Image stamped, coloured and fussycut (the French name of the set translates as "the lighthouse teapot".
Background is watercolour paper embossed, spritzed with water and sprinkled with Brushos and some gold Pixie Powder. I know Lorraine often sees egrets so I included the bird from IO that I think is a heron but will do duty as an egret. Matted on black, added to a white base.

I love that background! The combination of embossed compass rose and sprinkles of Brushos really looks great together. How perfect to have a lighthouse/teapot combination stamp in your stash. Wonderful card!

Great card! I love the lighthouse teapot -- so delightfully whimsical. And appropriate. And the pressure embossed compass rose in the background is very cool.

Using Brushos on that embossed background yielded stunning results. I don't know that I've ever tried that before; I will now. And, your lighthouse image looks just like the inspiration teapot. Good choice. Hope Lorraine finds comfort in knowing how many people are thinking of and wishing her well.

I really like the lighthouse teapot -- it seems lighthouses come up regularly for TPT challenges, so it should prove relevant quite often. The mariner's compass EF is a great background for this.

I love the way you used a teapot for the lighthouse. That was cute, and the embossing is very cutting edge. It is all a very nice card!

incredible card - that embossing folder is perfect and I love that background. The birds are perfect, and at first, I saw the tea pot 'handle' and thought it looked different for a light house, then realized it also had the spout. Adorable !!
