Lisa is our Teapot Tuesday hostess: MMTPT860 - January 14, 2025 - Add a Splash of Water by Shoe Girl at Splitcoaststampers

I misted a piece of watercolour paper, sprinkled Magicals over it and misted again. When dry I embossed it (the embossing folder cuts the window, plus a butterfly and flower) and swiped over it with the blue ink pad. Selected some DP to layer behind it and added the sentiment. I used two Tim Holtz butterflies from my stash rather than the die-cut one, but I did cut several of the little flowers and sprayed them with a scarlet spray. I swiped the card base with Delicata gold to soften the bright white.

Gorgeous. I love the butterflies you used here (and that you used butterflies) and how their vibrant colors both blend with the bg and flowers and pop off the bg. Speaking of which, that bg is beautiful on my screen but after reading the description I imagine it's tenfold better IRL. I bet that gold adds a glorious sheen. Fabulous card, Sabrina.

Your card is absolutely stunning! The vibrant colors and delightful butterflies are so uplifting. The background technique with the watercolor powders and embossing is fantastic. The added flowers and gold accents make it even more special.
