 | | Today's Colors: Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Lost Lagoon. Dessert: Masculine
I'm excited to be your hostess today! I chose these colors because there are so many males in my family. This card is going to my DGS who just graduated from high school. I hope you get a chance to play along.
I made a card similar to this one over 10 years ago. You can see it Here. I started by die-cutting 2 circles in Crumb cake and stamping the Hardwood bg on it in espresso to make the porthole. I added brads with stick dots underneath. Then I stamped the ship and sponged in lost lagoon for the water and lightly sponged some for the sky to look like clouds.
For the white panel, I stamped the ledger several times then using several stamp sets, I added splotches, postage stamps, and splatters in each of the colors. Next, I sponged around the edges and a little bit through the middle to give it an antiqued look. I sponged the rope and added Hardwood bg & a brad to the wheel. Thanks for stopping by today! ~Roberta |
