 | | I'm your hostess in the Color Challenge this week. What was I thinking when I chose these colors!?!? My apologies, and I hope you don't have as hard a time with them as I did! The colors are Copper Clay, Misty Moonlight, and Pebbled Path, with DS paper as the dessert option.
I need a birthday card for a man who loves to sail, and this was as close as I could come in my vast stash of stamps. (No actual sailboats!) I stamped off when I used Copper Clay and stamped the background on the vanilla paper, then stamped the boat full strength in Misty Moonlight. I crumpled the paper, tore the edge, and distressed it with Pebbled Path ink. A few rub-ons to give a bit of a collage feel to the background and a sailor's knot along the side.
Thanks for looking at my best effort, and please give these colors a try. We'd love to see what you can do with them.
