I had fun making this card - no patterned paper was harmed in the making of this card. This week's Alphabet Challenge letter is H for Honeysuckle (this round we are focused on flowers). I looked up Honeysuckle (I had heard of this flower!) and found bright and lovely blooms in yellow, reds, oranges, purples, etc so I went with yellow, orange, and red.
I used today's sketch challenge and started by using the wrinkle free distress technique to color my yellow background, red panel, and orange panel. I then stamped one of the flowers from the Echoes of Kindness set in tone on tone stamping on the yellow panel, used the edge of my ink cube to make stripes on the red panel, and just went for more texture on the orange panel.
I stamped the green strip with the polka dot pattern and then completed the card with this fun sentiment, sponging the edge and popping this up with dimensionals.
Thanks for the challenges and thanks for looking!
