Lisa is our TeaPot hostess and we are sending cards of encouragement to John, the husband of Sue aka sue28. Since John loves to read, I used various book themed clipart images to create a background and also added a stacked book image to go along with the computer generated sentiment. Using the SU Itty Bitty stamp, I added splattering. Sue, I hope that John is encouraged by all the mail coming his way. Thank you, Lisa, for hosting.

Ah, wonderful digi images and it's times like these I wish I had a color printer! Cool you could make your own bg paper. Love the sentiment .

Beautiful card. The artwork is gorgeous but adding those splatters brings it up a notch IMO. Love the circle element showcasing the books with the other images in the rectangular bg. Great card, Rita.

Rita, it is so wonderful to see a card in the gallery picking up on John’s love of reading, he is a prolific reader and these days reads my Book Club books as well as his favoured crime novels. The images on this card are fabulous, your card is so well designed and he will love this! Thank you for making a card for him~
