From Green to Purple with Chlorophyll printing
Added to Favorite

Photo Details
Poster: barborn

Run fresh leaves through your die cutting machine to extract the chlorophyll and make a lovely print. Not all plants work, so experiment. These green leaves produced a nice purple print!

Gorgeous card! So interesting that the chlorophyll turned that beautiful purple. Love your card design. Welcome to uploading at SCS and I hope to see you around in the galleries!

I've never heard of this, but I am going to try it right now! Love the simple embellishments that add elegance without detracting from the print!

Well, I hadn't heard of this technique either. Just one of the things I love about our posters here at SCS...they are always teaching me new tricks. I love the purple this turned into and your CAS design shows it off beautifully. Thanks for sharing both your card and this fun technique.

Very pretty. When I tried this years ago it got messy!

This is a sort of messy technique, but an added paper towel helps. Your pretty purple is fun to see when the plant goes in green. I have a bush in my friend's yard that gives the same result. The framing die really adds interest to the simple design! Lovely all around.
