WOW, I looked up Grimms fairy tales and this one is a doozy!! I can't imagine what the brothers intended to teach or entertain with this story..yikes!
Anyway, I had this set on my desk as it contains fall images..I just noticed it also had a tree with bird which is prominent in story..pleasant dreams.

I've never heard of this story so I just googled it. Wowza, you picked a doozy. I think your sky captures the ominous tone I saw in the synopis.

I think "grim" is the word for many of those stories. I didn't even keep my copy of them - but your card is definitely lovely.
