 | | Congrats to Nancy (Imastamping), this week's featured stamper chosen by Nancy. I wanted to do a closer case of this pretty card:
Calming Camellia by Imastamping at Splitcoaststampers
But that all went out the window as I started playing. Changes: added a sentiment, leaves instead of flowers, square shape panel instead of rect. and diff. colors, birds and enamel dots instead of ribbon.
Also for Polly's leaves challenge...I first tried embossing some leaf stamps with speckled egg distress glaze on l.l.twist, but it still turned out green so no cookies for me. I scrapped that piece and tried distress glaze in peeled paint. I liked the green color better using it on the lemon lime twist. So of course still no cookies, lol. Oh well. Birds are doubled up before gluing them down. Sentiment is stamped in green and clear embossed and popped up with two large thin dimensionals.
Nancy, I hope you have enjoyed your week. Your gallery is very inspiring.
Thanks to Nancy and Polly for the challenges! |
