Karen gave the colors today - Granny Apple Green, Mango Melody & Coastal Cabana. My dessert is the beach!!
These colors screamed beach to me. I wish I was there, but the water is still too cold for me.
I started my scene using the water from High Tide. Then IBBG for the sand, stamping off. Next I stamped the palm fronds in Just Jade, stamped off twice, then in GAG, also stamped off. Then I did the beach chair/umbrella in the Creamy Caramel. The chair sling is Mango & I used a new blender pen with Mango to get the umbrella a bit of color. I masked off the little words of the sentiment, inked & stamped in Cabana. I'm pretty happy with this!!
Thanks for stopping by.
This is 'my' beach
Hope that worked. It's just 3/4 mile away, unfortunately I can't see it from our house. If you're lucky when you click on the link, you may see a freighter come into port.

Your beach video looks fun and inviting, it's cool and rainy in my territory today! Thanks for sharing the idea you used for your water, I would have never thought to use only part of the tide stamp. Your relaxing beach scene is a wonderful idea for this week's colors! TFS

They do!!! and you created a wonderful beach scene. Of course, you had some great inspiration right at your doorstep. Lucky you to be so close to such lovely surf and sand. Great scene and thanks for the beach link too. Makes me want to be on vacation somewhere warm and tropical.
