I would have liked to make a card with a rabbit, as I think they were special to Karen, but I went with one of her cards that I have tucked into my favourites, as I thought it made a good sympathy card. Her card is here: Life Marches On by Art Deco Diva at Splitcoaststampers. Thanks to her great description it was easy pulling out the colours for the sky, the only one I didn't have was aged mahogany. I stamped and masked my elephant, sponged in the sky and stamped the grass and prickles. Added some SN clear glitter pen over the prickles, and a sentiment. Drew a line border on the base.

I like your card and I am sure Karen is smiling down on us, loving that we are comforting her husband. She was such a dear friend to me. I will miss her.

I think it's serendipitous that the card of Karen's you chose to CASE was named Life Marches On. I also think the elephant is equally as cute as if you used a bunny. And, elephants NEVER forget - it's doubly serendipitous! Love your card Sabrina but sad that we had to make them in the first place. :-(

Beautiful and vibrant as a tribute should be. I had never considered until this moment, the adage, "An elephant never forgets" and how it can truly pertain to our memories of someone who has left this world.
