 | | I have no memory of trying out the crayon rubbed embossing technique but it was easy and I was happy with the result. One simply puts a piece of paper on an embossing folder, rubs with a white crayon (I think one can use any color, I used a light yellow), then brayer dye ink over the top. The crayon resists the ink.
I used three inks: speckled egg, then worn lipstick, finally festive berries. For today's MIX (vignette style), I used the two reds heavy in the center and faded out (the center was masked with a torn oval). I used a text stencil with rose gold embossing paste but it fades out and rather indistinct. I didn't care if it's readable. Finally added a diecut flower that Jaynie sent me; I think it's from a gel print.
This is also for today's F4A-a card for a crafty friend and yesterday's WT-crayons. Thanks for this trio of challenges, they worked well together. |
