Trying to get caught up to my June quota for Christmas cards. I've always liked the Bordered Sentiment tutorial, and wanted to try something similar with dies. Stamping is MUCH faster.
The base cards are kraft, with the sentiment stamped and embossed in black.
Then I cut a sheet of brushed gold cardstock in four and embossed it with a Crafter's Companion 3D ef. I cut them each diagonally, stuck to the bases and after assembly, trimmed the excess off the bottom.
I cut a whole bunch of foliage with assorted dies - Sizzix Hidden Leaves, TH Funky Festive, IO, WPlus9, X-Cut, Sue Wilson. I used Stickles for the centres of the holly berries (so actually, they look more like yew. Umm), and also added a little sparkle on the pinecones.
I used Top Dog border dies cut in black to stick over the edges of the foliage and neaten the whole thing up.
