This card shows how easy it is to use non-Christmas products to make Christmas cards. I created two backgrounds with a stencil called "In the Jungle", and then cut them with the Diagonal Strips cover plate die. I mixed and matched the stripes to get two festive looking panels. By using rich reds and greens, the jungle becomes very festive (maybe even looks a bit like mistletoe?) and totally appropriate for Christmas!
I added some sparkle with gold watercolour splatter and added a gold layer under my sentiment (don't forget to cut out the centre that no one sees, and save it for a future project!)

Ardyth, this is such a great case of Rae's card. I love how you used the Jungle stencil to create the pattern paper. The colors are perfect and who would know the jungle stencil wasn't for a holiday pattern. Very clever and creative.

Wonderful CASE, Ardyth - and suddenly I realize it’s time for Christmas in July (how did that happen so quickly?) and I should start paying more attention to these festive inspiration cards.

Spectacular creation with those non Christmas stencils. This is a stunner and I too love the splatters. And I love the traditional colors and square shape. What a fun and gorgeous Christmas card.
