This card is for the Alpha challenge G = Gel Printing.
This is another panel that has been sitting in my stash for years. I made this when I hosted a S2S challenge to use items other than stamps to create a BG and gel printing. It is a two tone card and the end panel you can see the wavy effect I achieved using a comb. As there was a definite line between the 2 colours I decided to add some ribbon. I found this beauty in my stash. Why haven't I seen this before LOL. It reminds me of tassels on curtains. I decided to staple it onto the card.
Die cut the sentiment twice using vellum. Another product that I do not use enough. I chose this as I wanted the BG to show through. The sentiment was lost at first so I used stickles in places to highlight it. It reminds me of birthday greetings on cakes.
TFL. Happy day

The tasseled trim really made this card special, Jayne... well, actually the sentiment in vellum with sparkles all over did, ummm, it's the colors and textures on the bg...well, it's all of the above!

I did try to figure out what you made the sentiment from and didn't guess correctly. Velum with Stickles is good idea! Super cool background and the tassels are fabulous! Super cards for this challenge, my friend! Hugz
